Select language of the Atlas
The Caribbean Atlas is a trilingual hypertext document.
At any time during browsing on the Atlas, you can specify a language by clicking one of the three langs at the top right of the interface:
EN for English, ES for Spanish, FR for French
Organization of the Atlas
The Atlas is a dynamic hypertext constantly changing.
The Atlas is organized into major themes that may themselves contain various sub-themes. These themes and sub-themes include various studies as texts, maps and graphics. All topics may be updated, increased or decreased in number according to the needs and new studies of the authors.
Atlas may be enriched at any time without affecting its running.
Consult documents
By clicking one of the themes, you can see all related studies. If a study is available in the current language, you can access it by clicking on its title. Otherwise, it is also possible to consult study in one of the others languages available.
Hyperlinks and descriptors
All Documents of the Atlas are characterized by a set of descriptors and contain links that are also described by descriptors. When you click on a such link inside a document, you will be redirected to a special page containing the list of relevant documents relating to this link. This list of documents is ordered by a weighted score.
By all these ways, you can choose to navigate the Atlas by many manners, browsing a topic, or by clicking on the links contained in documents that allow you to access new studies on a related or complementary topic.
Reusing studies
All studies available in the Atlas contain maps and/or graphics. You may need them for your own research or study. All images are accessible and reusable for free. Please ensure, however clearly indicate the following copyright and the source of our document, namely:
